To avoid looking too formal, don’t add any other item or garment with sequins unless it was designed to match the pants you’re wearing (like these pants from Bloomingdale’s). I also prefer not to wear bold colors when wearing sequin pants to ensure your outfit isn’t overly chaotic. If you’re looking for full-on glamour, opt for a striking shape (instead of a striking print) and consider a solid color dress with ruffles or balloon sleeves to match your sequins. Finally, to avoid boredom, avoid pairing with a white, plain top with your sequinsThis is one of my pet peeves.<\/p>\nTo wear proper sequin trousers -that is, straight-legged flared or trouser-style sequin trousers — you should opt for a cropped or a blouse tucked in. A bodysuit is also good with high-waisted pants like those featured below. If the pant you’re wearing is a sequin leggings, you’ll need more coverage, so avoid the crop tops and instead wear the collared dress (as shown above). Also, you can try an oversized sweater that is the same shade you wear in your leggings with sequins. Again, the combination of textures in one color is delightful.<\/p>\n
